The community trek which raises funds to support the crucial work Beyond Blue does is returning to the Fleurieu next month.
Coastrek sees groups of four tackle a trek of 30km along the spectacular coastline from Victor Harbor in an adventure of fun, fitness, friends and fundraising.
Each team pledges to raise $2000 for mental health charity Beyond Blue, but currently some of the highest-fundraising teams have collected nearly $20,000.
Numerous groups of locals are taking part in the trek on April 30, including the Hawks, made up of Langhorne Creek Netball Club players Rhiannon Ferguson, Emily Tonkin, Emily Hill, and Kedeisha Kartinyeri.
They are completing the 30km walk to raise awareness of mental illness and support both Beyond Blue and their mates doing it tough.
"We all come from a small town which has been affected by mental illness in some way, especially among people in our age group," Rhiannon said.
"We've all experienced someone close to us affected by it and whom has even reached out to us, so we believe it's so important to make sure that people know it's okay not to be okay and to reach out.
"If a 30km walk can even in the slightest achieve that, then we are all for it."
It's not the first charity walk the women have taken part in, but this will be the first time they have done it together and have tackled this distance.
The women were really excited to represent their small town, family and friends.
"It's a a fun day with friends and it's for a fantastic cause, supporting Beyond Blue," Rhiannon said.
"We hope to be the voice for people who are struggling, even if it's only a few."
