The River Murray Netball Association (RMNA) held an emergency meeting on Wednesday, July 28 to discuss the 2021 season.

The emergency executive meeting regarded the "catch up games" for season 2021.

RMNA stated on their Facebook page that "these matches need to be played in fairness to all clubs to potentially making finals."

"Unfortunately with COVID-19 we have had to make some pretty quick decisions," RMNA said.

"This is completely out of our hands. We have decided to play netball matches during the week."

The games will now run:

Wednesday 4th August

  • Jervois v Tailem Bend @ Christian Reserve
  • 6pm: A Reserve and B Reserve
  • 7:15pm: A Grade, B Grade and C Grade

Thursday 5th August

  • Jervois v Tailem Bend @ Christian Reserve
  • 5:30pm: Mini's, 13 Div 1, 15 Div 1
  • 6:45pm: 15 Div 2 and 17's

Wednesday 11th August

  • Tailem Bend v Mypolonga
  • Jervois v Meningie
  • All games at Christian Reserve
  • 6pm: A Reserves and B Reserves
  • 7:15pm: A Grade, B Grade and C Grade

Thursday 12th August

All games at Christian Reserve

  • 5:30pm: Minis's, 11's, 13 Div 1 and 15 Div 1
  • 6:45pm: 15 Div 2, 17's and 13 Div 2

"The RMNA executive would love to see some community spirit with help of scorers, timers and umpires, many hands can make this run as smooth as possible," RMNA said.

"To all clubs affected, these games count as a full round eg: juniors can play six quarters, juniors playing seniors can play eight quarters across the two days and seniors can play six quarters."
