Spring brings the great weather for the Spring Garden Fling at Mt Pleasant

Spring was certainly in the air for the first two weeks of the 2021 Spring Garden Fling at Mt Pleasant.

On both days garden punters were greeted with a sun kissed mornings, and plenty of opportunities to browse amongst the plethora of plant producers and garden related stall holders.

Project Officer, Terese Stephens said " With many other events in the region being cancelled, anticipation for the covid safe event was at an all time high.

"Crowd numbers have so far surpassed expectations with over 2000 people taking the opportunity to wander the picturesque Mt Pleasant Show grounds, to enjoy the Fling and explore the Farmers Market," Stephens said.

"With plenty of dining options for breakfast & lunch, loads of Farmers Market stall holders, a face painter for the children, music and easy parking, the Spring Fling is a not to be missed event for the family."

The Spring Fling and Farmers Market open at 8am and will trade until 2pm, at the Mt Pleasant Show grounds.

To comply with COVID-19 regulations, stalls will be spread out over a greater area.

This will allow stallholders and customers to social distance appropriately. Entry and Exit from Railway Terrace gate.

Pedestrians entry only through main gate.
