A Murray Bridge High School student has been awarded the inaugural School Values Award.

Eliza Davis has received the School Values Award at Thursday, November 17 Year 12 Graduation and Awards Night.

Labor Senator, Marielle Smith sponsored the inaugural Murray Bridge High School - School Values Award and presented the award.

Eliza was chosen by the staff at the school for her strong demonstration of the school values of excellence, respect and working together.

Senator Smith said the night was an excellent event and always great to highlight Murray Bridge achievements.

"It's my absolute delight to sponsor the inaugural Murray Bridge High School - School Values award," Senator Smith said.

"I wanted to provide recognition to a special student who demonstrates the school values of excellence, respect and working together.

"Murray Bridge High School is a wonderful community. It has a hardworking, professional leadership team and a student cohort enthusiastic about the opportunities their learning presents.

"Eliza has upheld the schools values with distinction and I am pleased to honour her special achievement today."

The recipient of the award received a trophy and book voucher in recognition of their achievements.
